All of nature flows in cycles.

I look to the world around me

To learn about life

To observe the movement, the change,

The expansion and the contraction,

the dance of life that is moving in a constant flow,

circling outwards and returning inwards,

And again,

To feel the pulse of creation, to learn how to swirl and flow

And how to ReTurn.

The breath is with us

from the moment we are born

to the moment we die

creating circular movement in our bodies

and circular movements in our spirits,

expansion of our chest and belly on the inhale,

and return inward on the exhale.

The more complete the exhale

The deeper the inhale that follows.

Can I allow myself to open to the breath of life,

To the new, to the unknown,

To the risks of tomorrow?

Can I allow myself to return inwards,

To rest, to renew, to accept?

Cycles of light and darkness,

Life is a dance between day and night,

Between light and darkness.

The sun rises, the sun sets,

Establishing the boundaries of the day.

Day is our work time,

Night is our sleep, rest time.

The deeper our rest at night,

The deeper we experience the new dawn.

Sometimes our days are very long and arduous,

And we crave the rest time to let go, to renew,

Maybe to hope for a better tomorrow.

Sometimes the nights seem too long,

And we yearn for the glimmer of light of a new dawn.

I look to nature to learn about life,

To observe the movement and changes,

To learn about the cycles of life,

And the cycles of the spirit,

To learn to value my Safe Space,

And to find the inner strength

For embracing my Brave Space.

In a constant ebb and flow, ebb and flow

Swirl and turn,

Nurture and ReTurn,

Learning the balance of opposites

That create the cycles of life.
